What if all the crushes you ever had found out how you felt about them…all at once?
Sixteen-year-old Lara Jean Song keeps her love letters in a hatbox her mother gave her. They aren’t love letters that anyone else wrote for her; these are ones she’s written. One for every boy she’s ever loved—five in all. When she writes, she pours out her heart and soul and says all the things she would never say in real life, because her letters are for her eyes only. Until the day her secret letters are mailed, and suddenly, Lara Jean’s love life goes from imaginary to out of control.

My Thoughts . . .
When I first started it was a bit slow. I kept waiting for the letters to be sent and for the story to pick up. I wasn't going to put it down though, I thought about it but wanted to get through it. I hadn't read many contemporaries and romances. Then it all picked up and was completely amazing. The family, the letters, the romance, it all just worked.
There was a few truly amazing things worth mentioning. The characters. Five boys got letters but it was mostly about Josh and Peter. Team Peter all the way. I fell in love with him time after time and couldn't get enough. And he's not the only one that I felt thing way about. Lara Jean annoyed me at times but over all she won my heart. And Kitty. I love Kitty so much. Her and Peter were my favorite.
The timing and pacing of the book was also amazing. Sure it took some time to take off, at least to me it did but once it did, it did. It kept going and was amazing to read. Not to slow but not rushed. Just perfect.
Overall I think it was utterly amazing. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.
Thank you so much for reading <3
