The Fifty Bookish Questions Book tag

Hello! I found this book tag on mylittlebookblog. Basically it asks 50 questions and I answer them all. Since there's a lot of questions my answers are probably just going to be a sentence, if that. Now for the fifty bookish questions!

1. What was the last book you read?

The Book of Ivy by Amy Engel

2. Was it a good one?

Yeah pretty good. I wouldn't say the best but good.

3. What made it good?

I liked the characters. They weren't the most developed but still a lot of fun. 

4. Would you recommend it to other people?

Probably, it would depend on the person. 

5. How often do you read?

When don't I read.

6. Do you like to read?

Duh

7. What was the last bad book you read?

Unremembered by Jessica Brody

8. What made you dislike it?

I'm not sure. I just really did not enjoy it. 

9. Do you wish to be a writer?

I think I'll always write and enjoy it but I don't know if I necessarily wish to get things published, although it would be awesome. 

10. Has any books influenced you greatly?

So many. The first one to come to mind is Out of My Mind by Sharon M. Draper.

11. Do you read fan fiction?

Nope.

12. Do you write fan fiction? 

Haha no.

13. What's your favorite book?

So manyyyy. I hate to be the person that says I can't choose but I can't choose so haha. 

14. What's your least favorite book?

Probably Unremembered by Jessica Brody.

15. Do you prefer physical books or read on a device?

Although reading on a device is handy I have to say book. I'll read on the go when I don't have my book though.

16. When did you learn to read?

People started teaching me in 1st grade. I didn't get it and I hated reading because I couldn't do it so then I probably got it down late 2nd grade to 3rd. 

17. What's your favorite book you read in school?

The outsiders.

18. What is your favorite book series?

The Mortal Instruments. Or Divergent. Or the Raven Cycle. Or Under the Never Sky. 

19. Who is your favorite author?

Lauren Oliver and Cassandra Clare.

20. What is your favorite genre?

Who knows.

21. Who is your favorite character in a book series?

These questions are hard. No idea.

22. Has a book ever transported you anywhere?

All the time. Isn't that what books are supposed to do?

23. Which book do you wish had a sequel?

I'm gonna break the rules and say the Raven Cycle. It's already a series but I wish there was more or a type of spin off of something. 

24. Which book do you wish didn't have a sequel? 

Matched by Ally Condie. I loved the first one but I feel like the next ones dragged it down. 

25. How long does it take you to read a book?

Depends on the book. Short romances take me about a day or two. Long fantasies a week or so.

26. Do you like it when books are turned into movies?

For the most part yes. 

27. Which book was ruined by its movie adaption?

I wouldn't say the book was ruined but Allegiant was horrible for me to watch. I loved the books so much but I hated the movie. 

28. Which movie has done the book justice? 

All of the Hunger Games and so many more. I love If I Stay. 

29. Do you read newspaper?

On my phone.

30. Do you read magazines? 

Not anymore.

31. Do you prefer newspaper or magazines?

Newspaper. 

32. Do you read in bed?

All the time. 

33. Do you read while on the toilet? 

No. 

34. Do you read while in the car?

Yes. I suffer though my stomach hurting and read in the car.

35. Do you read in the bath?

Yes. And shower. 

36. Are you a fast reader?

Yes. 

37. Are you a slow reader?

Opposite of the last ^.

38. Where is your favorite place to read?

I'd say my room, a nice cafe or restaurant, and train.

39. Is it hard for you to concentrate when you read?

Not usually. Sometimes and depends on the book. 

40. Do you need a room to be silent when you read?

No, but it is nice.

41. Who gave you your love of reading?

My family all loves to read but when I started reading I didn't care. I'd say Suzanne Collins. I read the Hunger Games and I couldn't get enough of books.

42. What book is next on you to read list?

Not sure. 

43. When did you start to read chapter books? 

3rd grade I think.

44. Who is your favorite children's book author? 

Daisy Meadows and Mary Pope Osborne. Or alyssa Crowne.

45. Which author would you most want to interview?

Veronica Roth.

46. Which author do you think you'd be friends with?

John Green. 

47. Which book have you reread the most?

Divergent.

48. Which books do you consider "classics"?

Mostly the books you'd find in the classics or literary section. 

49. Which books do you think should be taught in every school?

Out of My Mind by Sharon M. Draper. 

50. Which books do you think should be banned from all schools?

I don't think any books should be banned from schools.
